How does Kickstarter work? How can I get a copy of Dog Park?

  1. Click the green ‘Back this project’ button at the top of the page.

  2. Pick the reward you’d like to receive for supporting this Dog Park and hit the green ‘Continue’ button.

  3. Create a Kickstarter account if you haven’t already.

4.If the campaign is successful, your payment method of choice will be charged on 30th September. We’ll be in touch with you shortly after that.

I want to buy one of the add-ons you’ve listed, how do I do that?

To get an add-on just click on your pledge to adjust it. The option to add the Dog Park Playing Cards, European Dogs Expansion, and Famous Dogs Expansion will be the options you can choose from.

You will also have the opportunity to add these to your pledge once the campaign has ended in the Pledge Manager. The Pledge Manager is where we will confirm your order and shipping details.

What dogs are featured in Dog Park?

The Collector’s Edition of Dog Park features all 221 dogs recognised by the UK Kennel Club. You can browse them all on our website. On this page, you’ll also see the breakdown of what dogs are in the Standard Edition, Famous Dogs Expansion, and European Dogs Expansion.

Is there a discount on shipping if I buy multiple copies?

Yes. Whether you’re pledging for the Standard, Collector’s, or Collector’s Edition with Playing Cards additional copies of the game will be shipped at a discounted price of £5/$7 per copy. You’re welcome to order up to 4 additional copies.

Can I get Dog Park in a language other than English?

Currently Dog Park will only be offered in English.

We are considering translating the rulebook into other languages, after the pledge manager closes, depending on the number of backers from certain countries.

Are local taxes and VAT included in the price?

As we will be shipping Dog Park to backers all over the world, it’s not possible to include local taxes in the price as it differs from country to country. Local taxes will be added in the Pledge Manager after the campaign. So if for example you are in the UK or the EU you will be required to pay roughly 20% VAT in the Pledge Manager.

What size are the cards? Will they support sleeves?

Dog Park has two card sizes: Standard playing card size (2.5 x 3.5 inches) and Mini Euro cards (1.75 x 2.5 inches).

We will ensure that the Dog Park insert will accommodate sleeved cards.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
